October 2005 - Sophisticates Black Hair features Avlon's "Metropolis Collection" in a full page feature entitled "City Chic," showcasing Avlon models. Model looks were achieved with FiberGuard, MoisturColor and KeraCare professional hair care products.
September 2005 - American Salon acknowledges Avlon's participation in the "LA Celebrity Catwalk for Charity" to benefit National Animal Rescue. Catwalk models included America's Next Top Model's Eva Pigford, Toccara and Janice Dickinson; The Bernie Mac Show's Camille Winbush.
All models were finished with Avlon's KeraCare products and all attendees received Avlon gift bags.
August 2005 - Modern Salon features Avlon's "Metropolis Collection" in their August issue in a section entitled "City Style" that shows Avlon models wearing sophisticated, glamorous evening hair styles.
Models' haircolor and finishing were achieved usingproducts from MoisturColor and KeraCare brands respectively.
June 2005 - Salon Plus magazine features Avlon model, Pasha on the cover of their June issue. Pasha's hair was pre-lightened using Avlon's MoisturColor Powder Lightener and colored with MoisturColor Semi-Permanent Hair Color System. KeraCare styling products were used to finish style.
June 2005 - Sister 2 Sister's Beauty section features KeraCare products in their "Summer Sun Care Guide." Among products mentioned to maintain hair effectively during the summer months were KeraCare Oil Sheen w/ Humidity Block, KeraCare Creme Press, KeraCare Shampoo For Color Treated Hair & Conditioner For Color Treated Hair.
June 2005 - A Modern Salon article entitled "Managed Waves" illustrates the benefits of the FiberGuard Relaxer System in softening the texture of excessively curly hair. Photos of Avlon model, Christina show how her frizzy, tight curls were smoothed out into softer and more manageable looks.
